Consoles of the Future
Designer Tai Chiem has come up with a stunning concept design for the Sony Playstation 4. The PS4 console would feature transparent surfaces made for adaptive touch screens, with a glossy black round compartment to place the discs of your choice. PS4 will give the gamer a unique cable-free gaming experience with its Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity. Moreover, the transparent display of the main unit can show thumbnails of different part of a disc and allow the user to select a part by simply touching the respective thumbnail.
He has also come up with a concept for the second Sony PSP. His design calls for a flexible OLED display that can be conveniently rolled. An electric charge powering the display stiffens it while providing near bezeless prime real estate for gaming. Stereo speakers on either side double as a jog wheel and camera control. He also envisages Sony finally implementing two joysticks. Pipe dream or not, it’s sexy and lives up to its name; it don’t get any more portable than this.

Blur - Coffee and T.V.
One of the best music videos ever and one of the few Blur songs sung by lead guitarist Graham Coxon who also wrote the lyrics. In the video Coxon is missing and Milky, the milk carton his missing picture is printed on, goes searching for him. I think the video and the song are metaphors for Coxon's battle with alcoholism at the time.

The team at Sony PlayStation and Nike have collaborated on another trainer carrying a design inspired by the PlayStation gaming console. Unfortunately the highly sought after Sony Playstation x Nike Air Trainer 1 will not be released to the public. Only 24 pairs have been designed which were given exclusively to friends and family of the Playstation and Nike teams.
Mayweather puts on a virtuoso performance to pummel Marquez
Floyd Mayweather Jr returned to boxing last night, putting on a virtuoso performance to claim a unanimous points victory over Juan Manuel Marquez.
Mayweather had Marquez on the floor in the second round after landing with a sharp left hook and in my opinion dominated every round. He looked focused, fast and fresh and showed no sign that his 21 month retirement has diminished his skills. I think the recent, weight division jumping, exploits of Manny Pacquiao had made many people forget just how good Floyd Mayweather Jr really is. After last night's performance there is no doubt in my mind that he is pound for pound the best fighter in the world.
His brilliant defence is the perfect base from which he executes his stunning skills. A defence only matched in history by hall of famers Willie Pep and Pernell Whitaker. A defence so impenetrable that in 40 fights Mayweathers's chin has never been tested by a solid blow. Matched with his hand speed, reflexes, footwork and boxing brain, conquering Mayweather has become one of the most difficult tasks in the sporting world. A task that, as of yet, no one has been able complete no matter how much of their own urine they have drank.
So who will Mayweather's next opponent be? There are three obvious answers. 'Sugar' Shane Mosley was quick to challenge Mayweather in the ring after his victory and the two fighters had to be kept apart as tempers flared. Manny Pacquiao takes on Miguel Cotto in a highly anticipated match up on the 14th of November with the winner placing themselves at the top of the pound for pound pile and firmly in Mayweather's sights. Any of the aforementioned opponents would surely provide the firmest challenge yet to Mayweather and his undefeated record.
As for the defeated Marquez this fight signified the pinnacle of his illustrious career both fisticly and financially. At 36, with the hefty payday he will receive for his efforts securing his future and after such a comprehensive defeat, he may now lack the hunger needed to continue fighting. If he does decide to return to the ring I doubt he will want to compete as a welterweight again. Last night he did not carry the extra 9 pounds well against Mayweather who is more accustomed to the division. The weight though had little to do with the obvious gulf in class and he wouldn't be the first fighter to look out of his depths against the 'Pretty Boy'. He is still a world champion at lightweight and may decide to return to a division where he is king. I pesonally think fighters struggle to get back down to a lower division once they have gained muscle mass to contest a bout at a higher one. I think the light-welterweight division is where his future lies and bouts with Amir Khan, Timothy Bradley or possibly even Ricky Hatton would hand him decent pay days providing he could find the motivation to take what would surely be a step down from the dizzy heights of his battle with Mayweather.

Lookie, lookie, I got Hookie!
"Have to fly, have to fight, have to crow, have to save Maggie, have to save Jack, Hook is back." I'm 23 years old now and Hook is still one of my favourite films. Critics hated it but everybody else loved it. Directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Robin Williams, Dustin Hoffman, Julia Roberts and Bob Hoskins, it still brings a tear to my eye when Peter Banning realises he's the Pan. It's strangely ironic how a film about growing up and Peter Pan (or the boy who wouldn't grow up) makes me reminisce about my own childhood and makes me wish I never grew up. As a kid I always wanted to be Peter Pan and have adventures like the lost boys. When I was in primary school my friend Moses told me if I stared at the sun I would be able to fly like Peter Pan but it would only work if I jumped off of something high. So I used to jump of the bed when I got home at night. Thinking about it now he doesn't sound like much of a friend, trying to blind me and get me to jump off of high things. The film's themes of children, adulthood and the loss of innocence combined with the reality that even Peter Pan had to grow up make this film appeal to more than just the target audience. If you haven't seen it you need to, no matter how much you've grown up. It's Bangarang Peter! Rufio, Rufio, Ru-fi-ooooo!

Mayweather VS Marquez
I'm looking forward to the Floyd Mayweather JR VS Juan Manuel Marquez fight tonight. Both fighters weighed in yestreday with Mayweather four pounds heavier than the smaller Marquez who is fighting at the welterweight limit for the first time. Maywether suprisngly weighed two pounds heavier than the agreed catch weight limit of 144 lbs. Because of this Marquez will benefit financially due to the weight penalties added to the contract in case either fighter came in too heavy.
Marquez will go into the fight as the underdog despite Mayweather's near two year absence from the ring. Floyd JR retired with his undefeated fight record intact after defeating Ricky Hatton 21 months ago. The winner will surely meet who ever emerges victorious from the Manny Pacquiao VS Miguel Cotto matchup which takes place on November 14th in a superfight that will decide who is boxing's pound for pound best.

Child Rebel Soldier - Us Placers
Child Rebel Soldier is a hip hop supergroup composed of hip hop artists Lupe Fiasco (The Child), Kanye West (The Rebel), and Pharrell Williams (The Soldier)
This track first appeared on Kanye West's "Can't tell me nothing" mixtape back in 2007 and samples Thom Yorke's "The Eraser". In my opinion this track didn't receive the attention it deserved. The unofficial and uncommisoned video is one of my favourites. Produced by director Vashtie Kola, the video features child impersonators standing respectively in for Lupe, Kanye, Pharrell, and Thom Yorke.

Please don't grow baby
My girlfriend is 6 and a half months pregnant with our first child who you'll probably hear a lot more about. We're expecting our little girl to arrive on the 6th of December. Right now we've fallen in love with a babygrow mainly because this ain't your average babygrow. Marie-Chantal the crown princess of Greece has her own line of children's clothing. The Marie-Chantal collection focuses on classic, timeless designs whilst capturing the beauty and innocence of childhood. I think this babyrow captures that perfectly. Made in the softest cotton velour and available in white, pink and blue. The only stumbling block = The £40 price tag. Usually for a piece of clothing as unique and as beautiful as this I wouldn't have a problem with forking out. My problem is our little girl will only get so much use out of it before she outgrows the grow. Can't it just grow with her?
Anyway this babygrow as well as many other beautiful pieces of childrens clothing are now available from the Marie Chantal website and stores.
